How to Report a Buyer for Feedback Extortion?

Buyer returned an altered and devalued item. I sent a partial refund as I am entitled becasue I give free 30 day returns.

Buyer demanded the full refund"before I leave feedback".

We sellers used to be able to report buyers for feedback extortion.

I cannot do so here, because I already reported her for her unreasonable demand.

But this is the first time she attempted feedback extortion.

And I can't report it!!

Or can I?

This s**ks.  No way to report a buyer for feedback extortion?

This is a separate violation. She should get sanctioned just for the feedback extortion attempt.

Always, ALWAYS report first. Report, give the partial refund, withhold original shipping if free shipping was not used. If the buyer has an issue, they take it up with Ebay.  Feedback will be BLOCKED and your metrics remain untouched.

The easier you are to offend the easier you are to control.

What are the main feedback extortion rules for buyers?
Buyers can't use the threat of negative (or promise of positive) feedback to get a seller to provide goods or services that weren't included in the original item's description or purchase price. Similarly, they can't use feedback to force a seller to accept a return, or give a refund, if they're not required to by the terms of their listing, or the eBay Money Back Guarantee.

eBay may not consider that to be extortion, because you offer free 30 days returns and thus a return/refund are part of your terms.

Sorry to say, but that's not feedback extortion.  Sure we know what he means but he has to SAY (type) it.

That says he wants a full refund before he leaves feedback (good or bad).

"I want a full refund or i will leave you negative feedback" is feedback extortion.

I hope it works out.  Good luck and stay safe!
