As the title indicates, this is not a selling post, but I can't figure out where to ask, and I know you all can probably help. If I need to request to have the thread moved to another board, please let me know which one, and I'll do so.

My question is, how do l type in common emoticons, emojis, smileys, whatever they're called? I've figured out a few (happy, surprised, sad), but not any others.

When I searched the Community, I found this thread, which is helpful:

I was walking yesterday & stopped to see a kitten ( part Maine coon ) it was on its hinds with paws in the air chasing flying insects . Awesome funny to watch & better yet a rescued barn cat 😸

You don't ... this thread is a viable thread and DOES has something to do with Selling ... using emojis and other inserts like pictures, URL video links, etc are all part of expressing positive and negative thoughts, feelings, sarcasm and comments as they relate to any given subject. Since we can't all skype togther and see facial expressions, etc. the various inserts help fill the gap. For example, here are three statments of the same thing but each has a different impact based on how they are typed, etc.

1. I like Seller Hub ...

2. I LIKE SELLER HUB!

3. I like Seller Hub ()

Very good point . I've seen people take someones else's comments the wrong way many times . It's good to add an emoticon to convey the true meaning of a message a bit better .

Lithium has its own way of doing most everything, so that all kinds of things you do one way everywhere else don't work here. 60 emoticons, most of which are tiny and totally unrecognizable is just one example.

Displaying emoticons in the middle of URLs that you paste here, rendering the URLs uselss is another.

Turning off the spell check that's built into all modern browsers is yet another. Useless.

I know, right?! My phone emjois are totally adorable! Was just blithely using those, and then one day looked at a reply to a post I'd done using them, and on my tablet, they were must showing up as black diamonds. 😮 I thought, "Uh oh. That's not good..."
