How to Get eBay error to retract Paypal billing

Sent to eBay 3/30/21

Sent to Paypal 3/29/2021.  They told me to address this issue through eBay.

I sold a Dolby Digital Receiver on eBay for $84.07.

(1/23/20; Exxxx117; eBay account # : Exxxxxxx8001-USD)

The purchaser paid me.

The purchaser wanted a refund, but "would not" return merchandise. 

eBay stepped in and eventually refunded to Purchaser. 

I, seller was not to be held liable. (No negative feedback, etc).

eBay sent to Paypal a charge to my account for $77.31, ($84.07 less tax $6.76).   The amount was previously refunded to the Purchaser by eBay.

• I do not owe the Paypal balance of $77.31.
• I cannot get eBay to address this issue via their site.
• eBay needs to reverse the chargeback through Paypal.

Why did eBay refunded to buyer, without a return? This seems odd. 

What are the additional actions that where done?

Did the buyer file an INAD and you didn't accept the return and Ebay had to step in and refund the buyer.

If Ebay refunded the buyer from your account, you are responsible for getting your Pay Pal account caught back up.

Buyer kept item he said was damaged.  Too $ expensive to return.

I do not have the merchandise back and now I have to pay Paypal.  Doesn't seem right.

I Think they most have workers that are not educated , they charge for things after saying you don't owe anything . And the next minute they refunding  way less from the wrong sell .  This being why No chance of these people in my bank Account  If I Want to be over drawn in a bank account  I Can do that all myself lol

If you wanted the item back back before refunding, you had to pay the return shipping.

Since you didn't accept the return and provide return shipping, Ebay had to step in and refund the buyer from your account and let them keep the item.
