I usually have to manually change the price on the listing when the buyer is ready to purchase, but oftentimes buyer retracts and disappears when this is done unless the buyer has a history of buying from you.
If you have offers off, then you have offers off end of story. Either turn it on or off. Doesn't matter how nice the customer is.
I suppose the best way would be to edit your listing and select allow offers.

Several way to accept an offer. One way, Log-in into your ebay account, go to messages, see message you have an offer, open message and find the link that says Respond.

I think they meant how do you accept an offer that a customer gave by word

Go to the email you received with the offer and see if you have the option shown in the screenshot. Click that and then type in the offer they sent or a counteroffer if you prefer.
