Re: How the heck can I turn off automatic RELISTING?

You can't. It's a permanent feature. What you can do it set an alarm on your phone for the day before the listing will renew to remind yourself to cancel any listings that you don't want to automatically renew.

You manually end your items before 30 days are up.

Re: How the heck can I turn off automatic RELISTING?

Depending on how quickly you need them to end, you can change them from BIN to auction format through your seller hub. When the auction ends in 7 days it will not relist.

I use this method because eBay only provides cancel reasons that are the sellers fault and I'm not selling anything that's likely to sell as an auction that didn't already sell as a BIN.

OP was running an auction, not a fixed price listing.

I missed that in the original post.

Disregard my advice, @candd205 - won't work in this case.

@releasethekraken_1

Where did you get that info ? I see noting on the OP's account and nothing written in the opening statement box.

Re: How the heck can I turn off automatic RELISTING?

There seems to be some confusion regarding the type of posting you had auction or FP/BIN. I use both types of listings and have never had an auction type listing automatically relist. If you are using FP/BIN for your listings you cannot turn off the relisting or "good till canceled" it automatically relists the item until it is either sold or you cancel the listing.

Re: How the heck can I turn off automatic RELISTING?

Good until cancelled typically applies to Fixed Price/BIN listings.  So many glitches - have not had issues with Auctions relisting?

That type of glitch would cause a howler or two.

ETA:  see no current listings for OP?

Re: How the heck can I turn off automatic RELISTING?

@jaco_8704   An Auction formatted listing that has the Auto-Relist function activated has to be ENDED and Relisted without that function activated.  If your current listing tool does not allow that changed to be made then you may want to consider switching to the Business listing tool and create a new listing for the item.

"Sellers can change to the Business tool when a strange occurrence happens.  It is comprehensive and used by eBay Store owners and many of us here are familiar with it.  Below is a link to switch, ignore the warnings not to switch.  Once you switch you will have to create new listings opposed to being able to revise existing ones with the Business tool."

OP has one completed listing. It was an auction.
