Funny I have been with eBay since 2008, and they are saying I have only been with them for 5 years.

Since 1999.  I used to run a shop with my father in law.  Unfortunately all the money we were making was magically appearing at the casino's, so in 2001 I started this site and ventured out on my own.  Lots of changes.  Some good, some not so good, but that's business I guess.

Ebay and the Ebay forum are two different things.  I joined Ebay in 2003.  I joined the forum in 2006.

If you are looking at your profile on this board, that date is when you registered for the eBay community forum, not when you created your eBay account.

I joined eBay June 8, 1998. I joined the current eBay Community 9-25-2005 but I belonged to the community we had before this one and probably joined that one when I started selling in October 1999 or shortly thereafter because I had lots of questions.

When I joined it was a very different ebay which has developed into the ebay that now exists.
