How many times can a buyer open a case.? I sold an item, it arrived on Feb 22. Buyer opened a case item not rec'd on March 5. I provided tracking which showed the item delivered. The case was closed. I won ( I think). An hour after the case was closed the buyer open a new case that the item was different from what they ordered and they would like to return it.
First they claim they didn't get it now they want to return it. Can they really do this? Is there a solution?

All valid points Ted. I don’t disagree with you. I just thought it fair to point out that a lot of buyers who open a return request when instead of an INR, are to blame for their mistake. I’ve responded to 2 of those threads tonight. The return option shouldn’t be available until after the latest delivery estimate but I can tell you why eBay disagrees—“because they don’t always have information regarding the actual delivery date”. Plus I think in their efforts to give the buyer the best possible experience, believe that there is no good reason to disable the return request option until either a) the item is delivered or b) the latest delivery estimate. So I agree with you, eBay is also to blame.

I don't want to drift off too far from the topic, but the way to give the buyer the best possible experience is for eBay to get out the way and let me handle things directly - without any lengthy terms pages, or byzantine processes, or misleading menu trees and inappropriate buttons and links all over the place.
