Sorta surprised there isn't one yet. But there have to be tens of thousands, if not more, who were totally oblivious all their auctions were reset a few days ago, and they were charge fees.
I'm looking at a 100 free auctions offer, and really don't know if I want to bite at it.

Auctions dont relist unless the automatic relisting for x number of times option is enabled.

I think you are referring to fixed price listings---not auctions. Auctions can have a buy it now but they are auctions and not GTC fixed price listings.

An auction is NOT a fixed price listing. An auction is NOT subject to the GTC rule. An auction with a Buyitnow price on it is still an auction. When the auction ends it is not automatically relisted.

I list everyday. Today is the first day that I had to end a GTC listing before if automatically renewed. I will now have to do this everyday, weekends and holidays. Thanks ebay...

It's just that there is a difference. I bet many sellers that run auctions read your title and got confused or scared. I agree sellers that never read the updates (and there are plenty) will be in for a big surprise.

Just did some of the free promo auctions. That was the way to go to get some extra stuff on without worrying about the darned GTC relists eating up the free monthly listings.
Actually sold a couple of items. One with a single bid near the end. Another one where someone jumped on the 30% + BIN.

Someone started a thread this morning stating that they got hit with a $73.00 bill for listings rolling over and they were out of listings. They are PEEVED, so more will be coming soon.

It's a long thread (four or more pages), so this is hopefully a permalink to the specific post. I think the member posted it a couple of times in the thread.
