3 days now and I literally have 2 sales- immediate shipping and positive reviews! Im still allowed to buy and sell which I could see putting on hold if theres any problem. I wasnt notified ahead of time to prepare for any kind of hold? If funds are in question why did Ebay get paid their fees out of it with no problem? My first payout was put on hold for 2 weeks because im a new seller ! Now my SECOND sell Ebay got fees, buyer received my items delivered from Illinois to California in 2 days!! I get my payout on hold for Preformance review?? 3 days now and still on hold to review 2 sales!!??
All new Sellers have payments held 14 days or longer. Once you established yourself and sell on a regular basis you should receive payment 3-5 days AFTER shipping item.

? Email, messages on ebay, or notifications to seller account ? If new seller accounts always have holds that should be LARGELY be stated clearly up front. My biggest problems I have understanding are during the review still allowed to buy and sell which I could see being stopped if theres a potential problem? only seller payouts on hold which points to a possible problem with funds but ebay can take their fees from it? Why and how could it take 3-5 days to do a routine review of 2 sales ? Only person affected negatively is the seller for selling and shipping their personal property for nothing at this point ? what good is funds available that cant be paid out or transferred in any way ? Doesnt fit definition of available to me. Available funds means accesible for immediate use! I appologize for my unusually high level of irritation with this and Im not implying its because of you in any way.
Ebay has a 30 day Money Back Guarantee. They want to be sure the buyer will not utilize that and until you are a 'proven' seller; they will hold up to 30 days after delivery as they do NOT want to be on the hook.
The review is conducted purely based on your performance which our system detects for example changes in your selling patterns, impacts on seller metrics or increased buyer claims. By the end of the review the goal is to confirm there are no risk factors present that may impact your account in future. Should there be an issue then you will be notified after the hold.
I will never sell anything on this rubbish site again I used it here and there and said I would give it a try but my god what a horrible experience .. had to wait until they received the goods okay then the guy wanted to return the item as there was a chip in the charging lead of which I'm sure he done himself I gave him a partial refund at a massive loss to myself he excepted so i go to get my money released only to then learn is on a periodic hold whatever that is untill god knows when never again
