How long are buyers supposed to be able to leave feedback?

I thought it was 60 days from the sale, at least that's what I see posted in the forum when people ask.

I received feedback for a Oct 24 sale which is more than 60 days ago. How can that happen if buyers only have 60 days?

Might be good to know if eBay changed this, I've been counting on 60 days when I have a problem transaction (at which point I won't worry about getting a negative). The feedback I got from the Oct 24 transaction was positive, but it's a concern if buyers can leave a negative past 60 days.
