How easy is it to switch laptops

I have purchased a new laptop, do I just download eBay app and then put all my info on the new laptop. And then with the old laptop remove Ebay?

I'm not even familiar with an app for eBay for a computer (as opposed to a phone or tablet).  I only use the website on a computer, and all you would need to do there is log in.  But if there is an app for your system, then yes, what you described is the right approach.

You don't need to do any of that!

Just open your browser on the new laptop and sign into your eBay account. eBay is online, you can access your account from 100 different computers, even at the same time if you like, it makes no difference.

What you do need to do is move any of your files that are stored on your old laptop, things such as images you use for eBay, third-party tools/Applications you might use for eBay etc.

Don't remove any information from your old laptop.  You may need it if there are issues with the new one.  The first time you log into your eBay account from the new laptop it will start the process of saving all manner of information and should operate no differently than your current computer.  You will get an email notice a new device is using your account but this can be ignored.
