I have a no return policy, customer wants to return an item they mistakenly bought. The item was shipped yesterday. I decline the return request. My question is, if they leave me negative feedback because of it, how easy will it be to get that feedback removed?

Why would you say the printer was new when the box was open and the printer had red writing on it.
You know when the buyer files an INAD, you'll be paying return shipping.

What happened seems very clear to me. What you can do, also, is have to buyer refuse the parcel and mark it 'return to sender'. All things considered, it might be the cleanest way to handle this.

Maybe work on your communication skills. 😂
Obviously my reply "Clearly" states it would not make sense if you shipped out the item after the request. No your post does not "Clearly" state the request came after. I apologize for the stress my post has caused you.
My opinion still does not change on why others will not cancel the order before shipping. Obviously it does not apply to your situation since you verified what you were exactly saying.
Sorry for your loss.

Well now that there is a timeline of events, i would agree. I should not of jumped the shark and assumed.

Yes, but they also claim it's new in the title.

Not in the original post.
They didn't say if the request come before or after it was shipped, just that it was shipped and they denied the cancellation.

Good catch. If i had to bet, customer was looking for a printer and saw this listed as New (possible phone purchase) and did not bother to read the details or even go through the photos. Once they had a chance to see what they actually purchased they bowed out. I am not a fan of buyers buying quickly without looking at the details of the purchase prior to buying but sellers are setting themselves up for a INAD. That being said, maybe the buyer knew they could get a Free printer based on how it was listed. (obvious not an open box and most likely the seller would refuse to have it shipped back due to cost) Either way unfortunate.
After looking at the photos, it looks like this was a return from a store not an open box and listing it as NEW in the title/description complicates everything. Hopefully the customer receives the printer, it works and they keep it.
