How do you use SKUs, if at all?

I use them on Amazon but not on ebay. No particular reason, just never started. From time to time I wish I did because I could use information on when I listed the book. If you use SKUs do you add them to your title or someplace in the listing?

Rarely use skews in titles. The only time I do, is when I have mass amounts of the same type of items where hundreds may be in one bin.

Otherwise I use skews exclusively for item ID # and in which bin location.

Many times I wised we had TWO skew numbers. One for location, one for item price, list date, etc.

We put item location (box #) in the custom label box.......and then it comes up on the packing slip page ( doesn't print there), but shows there and under the sold info.

I don't use a "SKU" per se, but I do put a value in the Custom Label box to make listings easy to search and sort.

I use something akin to "poster movie star wars", "poster music pearl jam", "lp springsteen river", etc. So if I want to see  or edit all my movie posters, I can just search "poster movie".

I don't use SKUs per se, I use "lot numbers" which is basically the same thing. I assign each stamp lot a number so I can have any order of stamps being listed and the lot number identifies it's location and which bin it's in. I confirm lot number and country when pulling in case I make a typo, just to make sure I'm sending what was in the picture.

Single coins and tokens are filed in alphabetical order at the B&M store, and I have a list of inventory for each basket kept at the store to make finding things faster (it's easier to look at the list than search the box, plus I use the picture on my phone as a reference of what I'm looking for). When I add new things to the baskets I update my list. I don't bother with computers for this because I spend 10 hours of my day working on one (plus time for eBay), so I use a handwritten list inside a notebook for inventory control.
