I have tried all day to get a live agent on the phone to discuss a problem I am having with a buyer. No luck! tried the automated and it is a joke. Please if anyone knows their number that I can call and get a real person, I would appreciate it very much! Thanks in advance!

The best way to get ahold of ebay is through facebook.
It might be better asking your question(s) here.

What kind of problem are you having with the buyer?

eBay shut down its major overseas customer service call center during the pandemic. It has yet to be re-opened to its pre-Covid state of competency. As a result, you might find there is more reliable advice here on the selling forum, if you care to share your concern.

You do not want to talk to most/any phone reps, they are notorious for lying and giving people the runaround. As was said, try ebay support on social media (like facebook)

Use the automated chat and type in "Agent".
Or use their Twitter.

You are best served by posting and explaining you situation with some detail on this site.
You also can search the eBay Help & Contact link at the bottom of this page and most any page
The overseas call center isn't very helpful as most are less than experienced and work for meager pay. plus American version of English is not their first language but they try. Our slang wording & fast talking confuses them. Worked for a Japanese own company for 14+ years. Personally they are able to speak two languages and most folks in the US can only speak 1 - that includes me and I had 2 years of French in high school way back in the early 60s. At times I have hard time understanding my newer wife of 42 years - she is a true Lone Star Lady and I have a hard time with two words "aimin'' and "fixin". Am a Mid Western dam Yankee originally

On each Ebay page there is a link to contact Customer Service at the top of the page and again at the bottom of the page.
I would suggest that you contact Ebay for Business on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter for the better trained CSRs.
Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service. Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is. Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message. It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.

https://www.facebook.com/ebay
https://www.instagram.com/ebayforsellers/
Your options will be on the left. If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options. Not all options are available 24/7. It will depend on staffing available. So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me. If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.
If you use a cell phone or other mobile device, you may need to turn off your Spam filter so that Ebay can call you.
If you are a seller outside of the US or Canada, you will need to use the Chat Option.

This also worked for me, except I asked the automated chat to "contact me" and it asked if I wanted to be placed into a waiting queue. Wait for short - a couple of minutes

The majority of seller/buyer issues here can be handled without any contact with eBay. If you'd like to return and give details of your problem, we might be able to help.

I have found posing as a buyer with a problem gets a quicker callback.

Sneaky Eh?
Personally have found that a search thru the Help & Contact tab was able to solve 99%+ of my questions/concern. Many of the calls I did make found the responses off target and a waste of time. These boards are very helpful when received from experience members and many of hem have a keen sense of humor - they know who they are - don't want to call them out>>>afraid I'd leave somebody(s) out - that is not a typo
Chill, Pura Vida and My First Car (except it was used w/ 3 on the tree and paid $150 cash - no sales tax
