You have been selling on eBay long enough to realize that their are ups and downs in the market depending on what you are selling. There are also a LOT of posts on this forum about the slowness in sales and some of the potential reasons why. There is no single solution to increasing sales a lot of people will tell you to promote listings but that has additional overhead costs associated with it. It's pretty much a trial and error process till you find something that works for you and the items you are selling.

If it were easy everyone would be making lots of money. Trial and error . It’s a hard game to play. I have over 1000 listings and I’m lucky to get 10 sales a week.

Sorry to be blunt, but have you seen how many sellers are selling the very same items as you have listed?

@bdbargain1975 You sold at least 15 items this month but your items do not appear to be anything spectacular, so you are competing with everyone else who uses those stock photos that you have on your listings. Are you drop shipping? If so from where?

As longtime sellers we all know trends come and go, buyer habits change, there are slow times and busy times....
and it is all about the product- it's uniqueness, supply and demand, quality, price points, target market.
Having said that, I see many of the items you have listed are common products that can be purchased anywhere without the hassles of shipping time & those extra costs. That along with the fact this marketplace is saturated with some of the very same products. Maybe time to re-think what you are selling and branch out into other items..

i dont understand when you say about stock photos we actually have our own studio to film our products we don't dropship whatever we sell is what we have local i don't understand why we don't get any sales.

You offer items that can (still) be purchased locally for less money. Your market is limited to those who (still) don't get out.

It looks like you sell new stuff. No offense, but Ebay is the last place I would look for new stuff, because I know it's always cheaper elsewhere. Besides, Ebay is for pre-owned, vintage and antique gems, not run of the mill, off the shelf stuff I can buy anywhere. (speaking for myself only, please don't pile on me, I already have a headache)
That said, I'm down 80% since the item specifics fiasco, so that should make you feel less alone.

This week..black friday and cyber monday...horrible sales. eBay has not offered any black Friday stuff at all. Why not 5% off everything?? I didn't sell a thing over the weekend. It will come back.

Try more auctions 15 a day, run a strike through markdown sale 15% off. Lower prices.

Yes, everything looks good except you're trying to sell what everyone else also is selling. More than 80% of items here on ebay are new, and many just like yours. This just gets harder and harder as competition rises (Walmart accelerating, Amazon is huge, etc.) and people go back to off-line shopping.

You need to pay more money. See ebay wants you to think your paying the normal ... What 9% ? Well thats a lie because if you dont fork out more money for promotion you wont get your items in front of anyone. I have the same problem and been selling for over 15 years. Funny thing like always they make the sheep that follow them think their doing them a favor when in reality its just charging you a higher selling fee. They only separate it to make the sheep think they are being competitive with other platforms when in fact they lie because you cant sell your items without giving them more seller fees.

@bdbargain1975 You do have sales, just not a lot. I think if you read some of the other replies you will see a trend ... your items are nice but common so it is very competitive and they are apparently available locally for less from a store.
This time of year most Buyers are purchasing things for the holidays or their hobbies ... if you do not offer things like that then you are missing sales in those areas.
You can "try" a Promoted Listing Campaign (Standard) ... run it from now until January 6 and offer on Ad rate between 5% and 10% (ignore eBay's Trending rates") ... put ALL your fixed priced listings on the campaign ...
ask youself this question, is there ANYTHING you have for sale that you would be willing to sell for 5% to 10% less? If the answer is "yes" then run the Promoted Listing Campaign as suggested.
I sincerely hope things turn around for you and your business!
