How do I switch my business account back to a personal one?

I am no longer running my online business.  I would like to change my eBay account back to a personal account, how do I accomplish this?

Yea I don't think you can neither. I could be wrong. 

The only thing I can think of you doing is to change your EIN to your SSN if possible. I remember there used to be a glitch that ebay mistakenly issued out 1099's to my SSN instead of EIN. Others experienced the same and there was a process to change it back. Or you'd have to abandon your business account and open up another new one as personal. You should be able to use the same addresses and email. But you'd have to link a personal bank account vs business.

You can't go back to a personal account once you switch to a business account.

You could just simply continue to use your current account for buying only.

If your Business Account was for a Sole Proprietorship using your SSN then you don't really need to do anything.

If you are  going to be a buyer only going forward you really don't need to do anything regardless of using an SSN or EIN.

If your registration is for an LLC, LLP, S-corp etc then you need to abandon the account and start a new one as a personal account.
