Found this thread, including posts from an Ebay staff member explaining that it's both possible and allowed, but I'm having trouble implementing it. What steps do I need to do to make it work? What should my address/shipping settings look like? If it helps, everything I sell has free shipping.

Ebay's outsourced overseas customer support hasn't been helpful.
And no, I'm not a drop shipper or engaging in "location misrepresentation." I have multiple warehouses in different states, live in an RV and travel full time, and ship from whatever location is closest to the buyer.

As noted in that thread, try just removing the item location specific information. On the listing setup you have to delete the ZIP Code and town name from the location info so those boxes are blank.

Add the warehouse locations in your Ship From addresses.
When you set up a listing, in the location section, select one of the addresses from your Ship From addresses.

Thanks! I figured it out. A quick guide for others in the future:
1. Add multiple ship from addresses in your account.
2. Use flat rate shipping.
3. Literally type the words "Multiple Locations" in the location box. 😆
#3 got me. I'd previously been just trying to leave both the zip code and the location boxes blank, and they kept automatically resetting when I did, so I assumed something was going wrong somewhere else.

Genuinely appreciate for the clear and direct instructions!!! I am setting it up for the first time, and I still have a bit confusion regarding some following details.
For shipping services, can we use different shipping services or have to be consistent?
Where can we declare to the customer where the item is actually shipped from?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
