So this is what happened. A buyer offered me 20 dollars for a pair of shoes being sold at 29, I countered offer for 25.
Two hours later item is sold for the original price (29), can the same buyer who I offer 25 decide to pay full price? I can see who the buyer is now, but when I check on previous offers all I see is f******7 , how do I know if it's the same buyer? I'm just curious

Yes, it could be the same buyer. AFAIK, the camouflaged user ID's are based on the characters in the user's real ID. Does your buyer have an f and a 7 in his ID?

I believe the original $25 offer disappears once a sale is made so the buyer waited too long and is out of luck.

You have a buyer. It's not the first person who offered $20.
Even if it is the same person, so what? It would be odd of him to pay full price instead of accepting your $25 counter, but that's not the oddest thing that's ever happened here.
