Wouldn't it make a lot more sense to place this important information in the same location sellers actually go to when they activate the store option, rather than to hope they know to go to a completely different location which is unknown to many?

There are multiple posts every day from sellers who have been hit with late-shipping dings because the store vacation settings page implies that putting your store on vacation exempts the seller from their usual handling time.  Just a single sentence on that page  would avoid a lot of pain and aggravation for sellers who have tried to to the right thing.

But sellers have been saying this for years.

Hi @nobody*s_perfect & @fern*wood, totally agree! When we create Knowledge Base Articles, they are designed to fill in a gap within the available resources or elaborate on a particular topic that receives a high number of questions. In addition to this, we also work with the content teams to improve our Help Pages and Seller Center. Fixing spelling or grammatical errors are a quick and easy update, but adding new information can be a lengthier process with many steps.

Again, definitely want to enhance the resources available and the Community Knowledge Base is not meant to be a replacement, only a supplement when we find other pages are lacking. Thanks so much for your feedback and a big THANK YOU for your help answering questions here on the boards for new buyers and sellers slight_smile

Trinton, we have been requesting a one-sentence clarification  for literally years.

Sellers aren't going to go to that Knowledge Base page to look for information that they don't know they need.
