How do I locate/search for a particular post?

I read a post here earlier but can't recall the title.  I do know the OPs ID (won't mention it here) and put that in the search bar but nothing came up.  

 

Liv, I believe you responded in the thread.    He/she was new and I think you helped him/her reword an item that he/she had listed.    

 

I guess I am still not familiar with how to navigate around the forum.

Find the User posts go here Click Users, enter ID  and their posts will come up.


Ok edit, was busy eating my cereal while posting and when I finally clicked post & went back , you already had it worked out Smiley Tongue
No more eating & posting for me !

Ahhh ... I figured it out. Search by USER. The person whose listing you helped reword replied IN the thread and was not the OP of that thread.

Find the User posts go here Click Users, enter ID  and their posts will come up.

Glad you found the post you were looking for but imho this forum search is one of the most (if not THE most) abysmal I have ever had to deal with.
