How do I know a scam?

I just bought a product for $20 which in reality is anywhere from 150.00 up to 300.00.  After buying it, I checked in to seller--says from another country and just got on EB this month.  How do I know this is a scam?  Would EB screen them first before getting that seller on here?

Given that you paid $20.00 for an item that usually goes for $150.00 to $300.00, there is probably a good chance that this is a scam, but as has been said,  you will need to wait until after the last date in the estimated delivery timeframe to open a case, if you do not receive your item.

Time will tell, OP.
