Hi,
An eBay buyer bought amazing arms from me. The size of all of them is small, which it said that in the listing. They now want a return with the reason "item wrong size". I asked them what size they were. She told me that they were small but she needs large. There is no option to decline the return request. Does anyone know how?
Thanks.

Click on your feedback; then on the right side of the next page you will see "View your Seller Dashboard". Click on that.
That is the Seller Dashboard. From the information there, that is one of two ways in which Ebay evals it's seller.
The second way is the Service Metrics in regards to SNADs. This is a completely separate way in which sellers are eval'd and if you get into trouble on this metrics you can end up Below Standard too. You could actually look perfect on your Dashboard and be a TRS seller and yet fall below standard because of the Service Metrics.
Not quite ... your standing won't be affected (yet) ... TRS/Above/Below are not affected by Service Metrics ... but ... they will charge you an extra 4% on FVF if your metrics get too high, based on your "peers".
Service Metrics are a separate dashboard:

Thank you. But I think you misunderstood my post.
The items that appear on the Dashboard is one way in which Ebay evals its sellers. It also determines the Seller Status on Ebay.
The second way [completely separate from the dashboard] is the Service Metrics which is based on SNADs that get opened no matter what their outcome, if they were opened in error or falsely filed as a SNAD [should have been buyer's remorse].
I went on to say that the Service Metrics can drop you to Below Standard. That is in the searches and into the penalty phase for FVFs. And I said that a seller could be dinged under this second way of evaling us and still remain TRS with a perfect record.
Sorry for any miscommunication. I hope that helps clear it up.
I didn't go into the specifics of how the Service Metrics works, but we can if you want to. It is just when I get started on this subject it is hard for me to turn it off. IMHO it is the single WORST policy Ebay has every forced upon its sellers. And to me it is a SIGNIFICANT conflict of interest by Ebay as they are judge, jury and executioner on this policy that they reap finacial gain from.

Mam ... my only point was ... Service Metrics cannot make you go "below standard". That is solely a function of Seller Standards. I was just trying to avoid confusion for posters that may not understand the difference between Seller Standards and Service Metrics.
At the bottom of the Service Metrics policy page that I linked above, it specifically says:
Your seller performance standards rating is not impacted by your 'Item not as described' or 'Item not received' evaluation rate. To learn more about seller performance standards, see our seller performance policy. For guidelines on meeting buyers' expectations, see our selling practices policy.

Got it, thank you. They changed that since the policy was first released and I did not catch that. I appreciate you getting me to understand what you meant. I sincerely appreciate that.
