How do I create a listing for products ordered from alibaba?

I am new to ebay and im curious about ordering a product in bulk from alibaba to flip on ebay. The only things i have sold on ebay have just been persinal auctions. I'm just confused how i would make the listing for one item with 100 units in stock and if there is anything else i have to do different while ceating that listing.

I take it you will be dropshipping from Alibaba? I would not suggest doing that since you will have little control over inventory and when things are shipped. IMO it's always better to sell things you have in your hand so you can verify the quality, the pictures, if it's in stock, the shipping, and who knows what else.

- Set the duration as Good 'Til Canceled. If you don't sell anything within the first 30 days manually end the listing and start a new one. If you make a sale let the listing ride.

- Set the quantity to whatever you feel is appropriate to start, depending on the type of item.

- Go into your Account Settings under Site Preferences and select to Use the out-of-stock-option. That will keep your listing live even if the quantitity goes down to zero so it gives you about 2 months to replenish your stock.

Definitely agree with this. OP said they were buying in bulk so I thought that meant they would physically have control of the stock.

Create a fixed price listing, enter a quantity of greater than one and you have a multi-quantity listing.

The only other different thing you need to do is decide if you want the listing to run for 30 days or as a GTC (Good Til Cancelled), that type relists every 30 days (listing fee applies each time).

The benefit for a GTC listing is that the sales history is maintained, this is desirable if you have a listing that is actually generating sales, it's not good if the listing just sits there with no sales as the search ranking will continue to drop.

Also look at using the "out of stock" option, if you use that and the quantity available drops to zero the listing won't be ended but it will be hidden until you add more inventory. This is a good thing to do if you are getting sales but run out of inventory on a temporary basis. When you restock the listing becomes visible again and the sales history is maintained.

The OP plans to purchase from Alibaba in bulk and hold the inventory themselves....NOT dropshipping!

That could be. I just might have misunderstood. My first impression was "just list them like anything else" so I figured this was different, but maybe they were asking about something I'm not familiar with.

Yes, i plan to purchase product and have it in my posession. From there create the listing and sell. My question is about how to go about creating that listing.

I did! You mean the guitar with the records and their names, etc... ?? I went out to that, first you have to drive up to where the big glasses are and then you have to walk about a half a mile through a field to get to the memorial. I have heard that that is not even the exact place where they crashed but I really just wanted to see the memorial. We also went down to the Surf Ballroom. I was surprised by how many trinkets people still leave out there at the memorial.

There are 1000s of other folks doing the same thing you are planning on doing on ebay already do yourself a favor and save your money and use it to buy merchandise that moves rather than just sits here and takes up space like the others...

Have you checked how much each of those items will cost you to get to your house?

And then, looked them up on eBay to see how many will be competing with yours, what price others are offering them for...

... and how many sell on Completed Listings...

and how much they actually Sold for here?

We'd hate to see you drop 3 or 4 thousand dollars on inventory,

that only sells here for half that amount.
