How do I change the minimum bid amounts? All bids are in 50¢ increments

Is there a way to change the minimum bid amounts from buyers?  All bids are in increments of $.50. Thanks

The bid increments depend on the amount of the current bids.  If the current bids are less than $24.99 the bid increment is .50 .  If you want them to be higher, buyers will have to bid $25.00 or more, or you start the auction at $25.00 or higher.

There is a chart at this link:

This is a proxy bidding system. Buyers are supposed to bid their maximum. With the exception of the minimum next bid and how much of the bid is used, increments are largely irrelevant.

There is no way to set you own bid amounts. Ebay does that for you depending on current bid prices.

Bid increments are probably the ONLY thing ebay hasn't changed since it began. I know of no auctions conducted with such low bid increments. They need to increase them. Fees, store rates, shipping have all gone up, but the bid increments stagnant. All things that hurt sellers go up, those that hurt buyers don't seem to.

I totally agree. There are sub-$1 auctions with the increments of only a nickel. That's just dickering...
