After reaching out to seller support trying to resolve an open case I was told one thing by 2 different customer support people only to have it changed by the third. I can't find where to lodge a complaint.

Actually, there is no place to make a complaint. If you followed incorrect information given to you buy the outsourced foreign eBay customer service reps you get in chat or call back, you are on your own. If by following their misinformation, it caused you to lose money and/or get dings against your account, eBay will do nothing to help you. They will say how sorry they are that you were misinformed and they they will give the rep some 'coaching', but that is it. You still lose.

Your best bet is to contact eBay via eBay for Business via Facebook.
They are actual eBay employees and will be able to help you

New users need to be warned about eBay Customer Disservice. They should just change the name and stop misleading people. The motto of the outsourced no-help seems to be "we don't know, we don't care, and we don't take responsibility if you believe anything we say." Disgusting, but true.

You can't lodge a complaint here... but if you share your issue, you'll get qualified, experienced responses. Care to expand?

The Facebook csr's are U.S. based Americans, not outsourced drones reading from a script.Use the message link.

Very common. What you do not see is agents are also telling buyers the opposite of what they are telling sellers about the same issue. When I have complained about agents giving incorrect costly information all they tell me is the agent will be disciplined. You cannot trust ANYTHING ANYONE at eBay tells you. Someone else will just come along and overrule them. There is no pride or honor whatsoever at eBay.

International buyer opens request for item not received. I inquire to customer service when my funds will be released again. I was informed that 3 business days after the package showed delivered to shipping hub in Kentucky, the funds would be released. I jumped the gun since I completely missed the "business" days and counted the weekend. Called customer service to see why they hadn't been released, my fault .... Not enough time. I confirmed what the first rep said about the funds being released and felt confident that I was the only one who made a mistake. I let the 3 BUSINESS days go by, and an extra one just in case.... but guess what ? Still being held. I had automatic drafts I set with my utilities which are now going to overdraft my account because the money is still being held. Call customer service, and he simply changes the story to "we don't release the funds until it shows delivered." Over an hour of arguing got nothing accomplished. So I call for an answer, get it, confirm it with a second rep a couple days later, only to have the 3rd rep change the original answer..... Why did I bother wasting all that time ? Can't put much stock in what I'm told because this isn't the first time I get lied to repeatedly:/

come here and complain like everyone else...which falls to deaf ears to ebay as this is member to member really, can try tagging one of the ebay employees who work the boards here and mention it, likely won't do anything though
