How come my sold item said “shipped” when I only purchase label on ebay?

 I don’t even ship yet.

Is anyone having this problem?

Do you know how to fix?

The buyer sees does not see "label generated"  but  sees "SHIPPED" until  the scans begin, both in summary and view order details. When track package is clicked ebay then shows "label generated"  but not until.  Maybe you should sit down with a buyer and take a firsthand look sometime.

Is okay......I looked at my history and found the threads from 5 years ago about this that went for days in January 2018. Posts on both selling and buying boards about ebay marked "shipped" and the confusing or sometimes senseless tracking updates they provided, including expected delivery yesterday or even Sunday. Ebay reps joined in the conversations and it improved slightly but was never completely resolved to display actual tracking status in summary or order details.
