I have some items I want to list that need way more than 12 photos for buyers to have a fair chance in seeing what they are buying.
I remember years ago you could just add links to photo hosters so the pics showed up in your text area.
For some reason ebay banned that. Why would ebay ban sellers from showing More Photos so buyers can get a Better view of an item?
Is there a way to get more than 12 photos into listings without violating the rules?
Tech note I am on a desktop & dont use mobile for ebaying.

There were some posts in the last several wks that all you had to do was copy/paste pictures into the descriptions........no hosting done.
Haven't tried it.....but it seemed to work.........

A couple other options to consider, working within the 12 photo limitation:
You can use photo editing programs to "stitch" photos together to make a composite photo.
You can prepare a video...either an actual video, or a video that is basically a slide program. Really depends on what you are trying to photograph and how much effort you want to put into it. here's an example of a video I made to show a music box working....hosted by YouTube, and clickable thumbnail link in my listing's description:
