I have not been able to wrap my head around this one in the five+ years of selling on eBay.
About 4 months ago, my sales dropped drastically. I’ve been around the block many times, so I realize it is necessary to throttle us since there are millions selling. I usually wait my turn and life goes on. Since 4 months or more, I have dwindled down to nearly nothing.
In addition when all the glitches were going on a couple of months ago, nothing sales already horrible, I felt just MAYBE it was going to get better. Many items for months now don’t show up in search, not even with the exact title.
ONE of the reps suggested to take down my listings and put them back up. I didn’t realize at that moment when I started this process, when I went to RE-LIST them I started to get charged 25 cents for each listing, x about 150 listings plus products I added since then. I called again out of concern (note they are still trying to pay me back overcharges for last month). “No problem, we will adjust your invoice.” Knowing how this goes, I called about 5-6 times asking and told the SAME thing. We will be in touch in 48-72 hours. Not to worry, they will take care of it!!!
I just learned from a very knowledgeable rep (a couple of days ago finally) who spent a lot of time trying to figure out why “She” couldn’t find them as well. It turns out that nearly ALL OF MY PRODUCTS HAVE been DIVERTED to show up in CANADA.
Since I learned of this, I started searching in Canada and there they are! No matter how I’ve tried to get them or for me to figure out HOW MY LISTINGS IN THE UNITED STATES UNDER EBAY DOT COM, NOT EBAY CA, got diverted, I’m so shocked!
I was a top rated seller with just under 3000 excellent reviews. NOW, I have been forced to use my “buying” account to sell on where I’m NOT top rated, very few in feedback except buying, AND I just reviewed my invoice. On this messsed up account, I have $315.00 in sales for a month and a $177.00 bill. I only have a small portion on this site to sell. I certainly can’t re-list them. Just how DOES THIS HAPPEN? Please, anyone. I hate to turn it over to an outside source since before this, the past few years have been okay. Not perfect by any means, but okay.
THEN HOW CAN EBAY TURN A BLIND EYE TO THIS AND HAVE THE AUDACITY TO RACK UP THIS BILL ON ME?

All but a couple did not show up in the U.S. I’ve been doing this for five years now. There were very few listings in the U.S. I feel sometimes they show you your listings if it is you, but that didn’t work either.
I’m thinking when they were updating something went really wrong with “my” listings. I threw this question out there to see if anyone had ever experienced this. They were not visible to me and they were not visible to the rep. I do know of one time a rep lied. I called the other day and he wanted an item number. I said, does it show up? He said, yes. I said and it shows it for sale, and he said yes. I laughed and let him go. It had been dead for over a week.
Maybe someone along the way will have experienced the same thing. I guess if someone can’t find them and the rep cannot, then maybe search other countries. Things have gone well with eBay, so I hate to complain but this has piled into a mountain of problems and very costly.
I’m going to mark this as an answer sort of thing. Perhaps one day someone will be able to tell me.

Have you talked to anyone about the bill?
The charges are going to be automatically applied.......the bots don't know what trouble you are having (and it's a doozy)...........

That’s NOW. Not how it was. After repeated phone calls and starting a new store about a week ago they are now showing up. This was AFTER a month of calling. I’ve got a lot of screenshots. If I charged them for the time to put my “other” listings up, they would owe me hundreds of dollars. I’m still not done with them.

I have had a lot better experience with them the past couple of years, but this has been so overwhelming. I’m sitting on 15K in stock for the past three months. The items I put back up are just the small ones so I can focus on the most expensive ones. I was overcharged on the last invoice, they said pay it and they would adjust it. NOT! Two and three months ago they had overcharged me $55.00 that I finally got credited for. When I talk to these “reps” they keep saying you already got credits. That was even before. Interesting though, since sales have been so very slow I’ve been able to find their errors easily since there is very little to review. I have been working on invoices prior to all of this and I’ve found a lot of overcharges.
I don’t know how they expect I’m going to be able to pay this bill. I wonder if I can mention on my new store my old account so they can see my feedback and “top rated” account? I am so drained trying to deal with CS and all the time spent trying to put them up in my new store. I sent a letter to San Jose, but I’m expecting nothing will happen. If not, then I guess I will have to get their attention in other unpleasant ways. I sure hope not. They have been undeserving until now, so I hate to have to blast them.

JMO, but ending listings only to relist them is going to cost money in fees.
Sellers do it to get a bump up, but it is obviously not free to do so.
If there is a problem being seen, one should call ebay first to see what the problem is.

I did call them multiple times. They told me to take them down and re-list them because they couldn’t find them as well even by item number. I didn’t think about being charged. When I saw that it was going to cost, I called back and they told me not to worry they would credit me. NOT!!
My point still is, how could they divert my listings to another country? A few days ago I managed to get a US rep. I suggested to her how I think it may have happened. It was then that my products started to show up again.
I have tons of screenshots to prove this, barely any sales, hardly any views, the activity fell to nothing. Where I used to get questions, purchases, etc., I had none on the most popular products I sold. I know there was the view issues, but I had a store and seller hub and that only lasted a few days. My view issue started before their problem. The entire situation in the past few months has been staggering.

Exactly. I would not have known this, but I finally got with a rep in the U.S. who spent a lot of time with me. She couldn’t find my listings even with the item numbers. She discovered they were sent to Canada. When given this information, I searched Canada and there they were. I only left loose ends on my once great store, but now they are showing up in the U.S., but definitely were not before a few days ago.
I had her compared item for item on views, while she didn’t tell me how many MORE there were than mine, she was stunned. Most of my screenshots for ended listings of 30 days was from 0 to maybe 20.
I just wish someone could tell me why and how this could happen???
Others are commenting on the additional problems I explained, but this is about my listings getting diverted/moved to Canada. I’ve wondered if anyone could tell me why. I even got an email about 3 months ago from eBay and asked if they could help as they see my sales are way down. I answered it, but never heard anything more.
After much thought, I have my belief what happened and shared it with a U.S. rep the other day, but I don’t want to say it because I have no proof, but after that my products started showing up in the states again. It sickens me. I’ve spent hours and hours trying to create another store and re-do all my listings.

The only time I recall something similar was a person in Canada who could not see his own listings because he had blocked Canada as a country he sells to.
I assume you did not have the US accidentally blocked.
Now are you saying they were still listed on the .com site or were they on the ca site?
Could you have just been put on the wrong server - glitch perhaps?

You are opted into the Global Shipping Program.
No 'diversion' , the GSP is a Seller Protection program that allows you to ship overseas (and to Canada), by sending your product with cheap USPS confirmation of delivery to the GSP plant in Erlanger KY.
Once accepted at the plant, you have no more responsibility for delivery.
If I bought your VHC Heritage Farms Quilt, I would pay $14,75 shipping plus Canadian duty and 13% Sales Taxe plus a ~$5 service fee.
You do have several countries Blocked but Canada is not one of them. The ones that are blocked are strange choices(Guernsey is part of the UK. Vatican City? Monaco? but you accept Ukraine, which is a war zone).
Having the GSP available does not Block the USA, it just makes your items visible to billions of other customers.
If you want to see how your listings look from Canada use the postal code K1A 0A6 (our Parliament buildings in Ottawa).

Your listings were showing on the Canadian site as you ship to Canada via the GSP. Any listings that ship to both Canada and the US are shown on both sites. That by itself does not mean that your listings were not being shown on the US site.
