How can I get Ebay to add “Send Offer to Buyer” buttons to more watched listings?

In the past few weeks, EBay put “Send Offer to Buyer” buttons on about 100 of my listings, and I made offers on some of them. Since then, Ebay adds just one or two new buttons per day, seemingly randomly in terms of price and how long I have had the listing. How can I get Ebay to enable the Send Offer function on more of my listings? I don’t want to change the listings to have the internal “Make an Offer” function. I prefer this new one because it gets the attention of potential buyers.

@hdinat- It sounds like you're talking about the feature that lets you make an offer to watchers. It will only appear on listings when you have new watchers that weren't previously notified about a lower price or private offer on the listing. There's nothing you can do to make it appear- it depends on new potential buyers adding your items to their watch list.

Thanks. It still doesn’t make sense to me, though, since I have rarely lowered prices on items, and so most of my watched items would not have had any previous notifications. The intial listings with enabled Send Offers were not necessarily new watchers, either, this I know for certain about some of them. I’m wondering whether Ebay is still in the roll-out stage of this and will add more later. I certainly hope so.

At present, there is no way to get ebay to add listings to this....ebay has internal criteria they use to determine which listings are eligible and also to determine which watchers are eligible within that listing. Those criteria will likely change as time goes on. Hopefully, ebay will expand the number of eligible listings.

Thank you. Yes, hopefully they will. I’m movIng over the summer and that requires some downsizing, so I’m more amenable than usual to making reasonable offers on some of my books. Not any and all, of course.
