How can I do this variation?

Hi, I don't see why I cannot list this as a variation in the doll category. I have nine 12" basic nude fashion dolls. I want to list them as variations.

Each doll is the same price, the variation would be their name/item number I assigned them (i.e. 1 - China Candi, 2 - Alysa, 3 - Janay, 4 - Janay). It would be so much easier to list them this way vs individually. Isn't it the same as me listing glass bicone beads and the variation is the color name? Any ideas? Thank you in advance.

Is there some mechanism stopping you from creating the listing? Here is the link on how to set up a variation listing, in case you haven't seen it. Are you using the advanced listing tool?

How can I do this variation?

What you want to do is totally possible.

There would be 9 variations, each with 1 doll (quantity 1). I would call the variation "NAME".  In my opinion, you wouldn't need the number, just the name.

China Candi

Alysa

Janay

Helga

Vanessa

Etc.

As each doll would sell, it would no longer be available and it would say "out of stock".

Totally do-able.
