How can I change the condition. I often just look up an item and use "sell one like it". But I need to write my own condition.  I couldn't see where to change it.

Any help would really be helpful.

'Condition' has its own field on the listing form. You'll see it (with a red asterisk) just above your photos. Choose one.

Edit: you can write a 'Condition description' in the field below, as long as it's not a 'New with Tags' item.

This is why you shouldn't be copying someone else's listing. You may be missing other things that are wrong or don't apply to  your item. There are plenty of listings with incorrect information, especially now that item specifics are so crazy! Miss just one and it's a SNAD waiting to happen.
