I was on the fence about a buyer's offer, so I decided to check out their feedback, see if they're rough on sellers. But I've never seen this before, no visible comments whatsoever, not even 'left for others.' They have no items for sale and no Sold's history. But apparently they've had 2224 positive feedbacks as a buyer.
So I'm assuming they did something in their settings to conceal everything but the numbers. This definitely does not sit well. First of all what does a buyer-only have to hide, when they can't receive negatives and it doesn't even show what items they bought in the sellers' positive comments? Secondly, why does eBay enable hiding feedback left for others, when it's obviously useful information (like for a seller considering an offer)?
Incidentally when I said I was on the fence about their offer, it wasn't the amount (it was reasonable) but because they made it via email, as I do not (yet) have 'Make Offer' enabled on this item, just posted it a couple hours ago. I used to have a real stick up my butt about people sending email offers, but eventually I stopped being so irritated by it and even accepted a few because they were reasonable, and they were good buyers. But this one, I'm not only ignoring; they're going to my BBL. -Oh that's another thing, their username is a totally random-looking string of numbers and letters. I don't trust 'em!!

And I should be a nicer buyer, but I've had enough of being abused by sellers who think they "own" something.
Granted I would also never send an offer through messages to a seller about an item that doesn't have "send offer" enabled.LOL so in what ways are you not a nice buyer? And what do you mean about sellers thinking they "own" something, like something besides the items they have for sale? How have they abused you?
Can you show us on the doll?
I deleted the photos to save on bandwidth, however I did find it disrespectful, joke or not.
Sellers who send me unsolicited offers because I looked at their item.
Sellers who send me messages telling me the item has been shipped (and other such useless messages) which in the end are only begging for feedback. These same sellers who come off oh-so-helpful right then will not lift a finger when I have an actual problem, in fact they do the opposite and try in every way possible to thwart any refunds or product returns by giving me the run-around and playing stall tactics. Sellers who cancel my purchase for reason "buyer asked" when I absolutely did not, and the truth is they're out of stock. The list goes on, I have short appreciation for any such tactics and I can and do leave appropriate feedback.
It is part of the reason I made my feedback private at one point, but the real reason was people "connecting the dots" seeing that I make a lot of purchases, they go in and sneak themselves into my honey items. I have however discovered much better sourcing venues in the recent past and thus made my feedback visible again.
That said...
You blocking someone because they sent you a message with an offer when you don't have best offer on that item, I can kind of see that... Bit harsh but ok... But blocking a buyer because of "spidey" senses?
I think you're shooting yourself in the foot there.

I'm sorry I was disrespectful. I wasn't raised right.
I buy here a lot too. I haven't run into any bad sellers in a while but I know they certainly do exist, same as bad buyers. I think it's really just a reflection of the fact that we're talking about people, humans, and they're as varied as eBay'ers as they are in the rest of their/our interactions.
Ha I am an idiot for buying with my seller account -I actually have a buyer account too and use it occasionally, but I often forget, also I can't use my available funds (from selling) there obviously, and it's not the account I have set up with Just Snipe, though I guess I could change that if I weren't so lazy. One way I have definitely bitten myself in the butt is this: like 3 times in a row I have found a honeypot seller, offering big lots of amazing costume jewelry that I would repeatedly win their auctions because their photos weren't great and/or they didn't know to highlight designer names in their titles or descriptions, maybe didn't even look for marks because I'd get a fair amount of sterling silver and even gold! But then lo and behold, after a few months or so of me flipping pieces from those lots, individually for amounts higher than I paid for the whole lots .... they would apparently see that because then I'd see them start paying closer attention to their jewelry, noting names and taking better pics, doing better enough that other people start bidding more, and then pretty quickly they become too expensive for my profit margin standards.
LOL, I don't get upset about it though, because I'll have felt like I was almost stealing from them up to that point, and anyway it's only a matter of time before I find the next honey, ha.

One thing about your reply is misguided though -it's not sellers choosing to send offers to people who only looked at their listings. Very recently (like within the past few weeks) eBay changed the programming to do that, when before seller offers only went to watchers and shopping cart holders of those items. It's a very stupid change and I hope they do away with it.
