I had a decent Christmas Season, but now the sales are coming in in dribs & drabs

When summer started to slow down, I was waiting for fall to kick in for better business.  Not only did it not happen, sales got worse throughout Nov. & Dec.  Jan. does not look like it will be any better.   Good luck to us all.   🙂

I was getting 12 or more sales a day until 2 days ago. Within the last 2 days I've gotten 4 sales total and not one question on 150 listed items.

Has happened every January since the...beginning of online commerce?

Let's see:

1. High Inflation

2. Fake supply shortage driving up prices for corporate profit.

3. Stock & Crypto markets on the edge

4. Winter weather heating bills

5. Wages not keeping up with said inflation

6. No Stimulus

7. No extra child care stimulus as of 12/31/21

8. High gas prices

9. Evictions approaching a record pace

10. Foreclosures & Bankruptices set to explode again (a la 2008)

11. Interest rate hikes coming (those credit cards will be approaching 30-40% interest)

12. Oh by the way, in case everyone forgot there's a pandemic with no relief or end in sight.

So yeah, sales are down. Won't pick up again until something gives.

Maybe run a promotion sale or do a coupon?  See if that jump-starts some sales?
