Well...........it was fun while it lasted.  lol   Hope the bad ol' days are not coming back.  Since the end of March, sales have been nice & steady; sometimes great.  Before that - it was depressing.  It seems to have lasted over 9 months but the last 3 days have brought back the awful!   lol   4 sales for $20.   Hopeful it is a temporary trend because a new POTUS cometh.  Buh bye to the criminal.   🙂  Best of luck to all.   Stay safe.

My opinion is that frequency of listing is directly correlated to sales volume 1st. Perhaps those who find it slower now started their jobs again or were busy with the holidays and didn't turn out as many new listings...I don't think that any one event or action affects all of eBay and their 400 million users. There will always be someone to buy something, be it a wealthy person or someone who needs a hard to find item, or a savvy shopper who even with a limited budget, can still get a nice winter coat or food cheaper here than anywhere else.

*sigh* Oh, how I'd love if we can keep politics out of these boards.  We've been through twenty years of nastiness - I'm looking forward to the day when we can go fifteen minutes without hearing opinions about a president or his supporters.  As I said to my mother just yesterday, positive people don't spend their days and nights trying to get in jabs to "the other side," regardless of where that other side falls.

That's not my point.  I'm not taking sides.  I hate politics.  Recently I tried to address my pretty impressive item impressions but low ctr.  So I photoshopped some people with my items such as political figures.  I knew that was taking a chance of offending someone even if I was even handed. It didn't really result in anything so I stopped.  Years ago I sold a political item on ebay and made a conscious effort to remain neutral(photoshop renderings)and balanced and I sold more than anyone else on this site by far.  My point is he's asking for trouble by stirring the political pot.

The impact of COVID 19 has had a lot to do with this frenetic internet buying. Ebay has been riding the waves of the pandemic. After the vaccine is out to the general public, I suspect this place will go back to the normal and sometimes low sales volume unless Ebay has some trick up their sleeves to keep it going this way. I doubt it.
