I am trying to set up a selling account so that I can list items on EBay. The form ask for my address, I put in PO Box and it replies, can't be a PO Box. So, I put in my physical address, it says, error, not in USPS database. Well, hello, in my small town they do not have home delivery, therefore there are no physical addresses in their database. I cannot get past this screen to list items. I finally managed to talk to a live body 2 weeks ago, and she said that this was a problem on their end and would be fixed in a matter of hours. It still doesn't work. Any suggestions??

You should be able to get the local post office's physical address and use that.

Can you enter a street address for your PO Box?
For instance, my PO Box address is:
PO Box 123
Fake City, CA 12345
But I can enter it as:
12345 Fake Street #123
Fake City, CA 12345
Is useful for when I don't want to send UPS/FedEx packages to my home. Or places that don't accept PO Box as the address.

Yes this ↑. Use the physical address of the post office and enter your box number.

USPS actually has a form that you can fill out so PO Box holders can use the street address of the PO. Not only for situations like this, but also for receiving packages shipped through UPS and FedEx. Most PO's participate in this service.

I have sold with EBAY for many years… but now after being asked to “verify” my information I am unable to sell because I’m told that I cannot use my P.O. Box (which I have always used) and that my physical address “cannot be found” (which I have also been able to use with EBAY in the past.)😣😖
