High Selling Risk Restriction

Hello Community,

 

My eBay account was restricted on 10th April due to high selling risk. And eBay informed me that if there aren't any cases opened within the 30 days, they'll due manual review and I can appeal after 10th May, and there were no cases opened in this time frame. On 11th May I appealed, and received following response. Anyone who can help me, it would be very much grateful to you. eBay do owe me $700, any idea in how much time will it be transferred to my Payoneer.

Building a trusted marketplace is our first priority. As such, we restrict any account that violates our policies. Your account has been restricted because the pattern of activities we have witnessed breaches our policies of eBay community. For security reasons, we would be unable to disclose the exact reason for suspension.

 

We Value your relationship with us and we don't make decisions like this lightly, so we have spent some time reviewing your case. Upon reviewing your account thoroughly, I’m saddened to inform you that this restriction is permanent. You will not be able to participate in any selling activities on eBay. While we know this isn't the response you wished to receive, there is no further opportunity for appeal on this decision.

 

I will not be able to provide any specific information. We've found that providing this information can also provide ways to circumvent this restriction or review process in the future. We have determined that it is in our mutual best interest to part ways. We regret any frustration or inconvenience this matter may cause you.

 

I appreciate you taking the time to contact eBay customer service today to clarify this matter. I hope this explains the situation and how to handle it in the future.

This leatherabrish is nothing to do with ab leathers, this leatherabrish is just log in on my cell phone and it wad suspended way many years ago. I was handling as a VA, the AB leathers is my personal account and it is being logged in, in my laptop. 

 

They both aren't associated with one another in any cause

By posting here with both IDs, they are now connected. eBay will link the ISP used here today.

today, I received a concerning communication from eBay regarding my account.

The message stated:

eBay regularly evaluates the accounts of its sellers. In relation to your account, we have noticed that your account performance and activities may pose a risk to the eBay community. To protect the community, we have applied the following restrictions to your account in accordance with the eBay User Agreement and eBay policies:
(a) Your selling privileges are restricted, preventing you from creating new listings or revising existing ones on any eBay site; and
(b) Your payments have been placed on hold.

Restriction reason: High risk selling.

The safety of our community is a top priority for us. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

I would like to address several points and seek clarification regarding this decision:

1. I do not owe any money to eBay or any buyer. In fact, eBay owes me money for sales made in July.
2. I have no open cases with buyers.
3. My feedback history is exemplary.
4. My account is well-established and has been active for many years.
5. My selling limit is $1 million.
6. All my orders include tracking numbers.
7. I do not engage in dropshipping. I operate a physical store and have a business account.

 

Given my consistent performance and adherence to eBay policies, I am perplexed by the restrictions imposed on my account. I have received no instructions on how to address this situation, nor any specific explanations regarding the perceived risks.

I have invested considerable time and effort into building this store and ensuring customer satisfaction.

cp_elgreco, my account was also restricted today. I received a similar message from ebay.
My history is also clean for 8 years of cooperation with ebay.
I can’t explain ebay’s behavior except as a technical error and technical failure.
I hope they will figure it out and return the opportunity to continue cooperation to us.

P.S. I use VPN for work to make my traffic safe during the war in Ukraine.
Maybe the reason is VPN? But is using VPN prohibited by eBay policy?

Yes, VPN's are a no no, not to mention you post your listings as private. That will raise red flags every time.  You should try reach out to customer service via this link. Let them know your situation.  Good luck:
