Hey eBay...
I am sick and tired of getting 2-4 messages per day!!!
Most wanted: toys and collectibles from holiday wish lists
Your inventory can work harder
Top tips for selling your items on eBay
There are eyes on your item! Go for the sale.
Your items are waiting in carts. Now make the sale.
These are the messages I've gotten from ebay in the past week. I don't want or need your "recommendations". You know SQUAT about selling on ebay. If you did, you would be raking in the fees and not feel the need for a bogus 4% fee "punishment".
LEAVE ME ALONE AND STOP SENDING ME YOUR SPAM!!!!!!

We are not required to open emails - I get tons of emails because I once bought from a site or visited a site that needed my email to view whatever I was there for. Each day I just delete all - once a month I may go to unsubscribe - but it's hardly something to get so excited about.
I'm actually looking forward to seeing what the advice is for sales in the 4th quarter and what people want so I'm sure I list it if it's just sitting in one of my piles I haven't gotten too yet.

Barnes and Noble, Vera Bradley, etc.
When you make a purchase in a B&M store they ask for your email address. I used to give it to get coupons.
But it was just becoming rediculous with all the emails I was getting, so now I no longer give it.

is that your really BIg hardship in the world?
Wanna bet? I have an account that hasn't been used - logged on, used for search, anything - in 10 years. It still gets current spam from ebay about 3 times a week.

The problem is that these messages are being sent to ALL sellers.
"source these items that sell!"
So they are telling thousands of sellers to go on the hunt for these items, and when a bunch of them do source the items, it's a race to the bottom for pricing. THEN... ebay will show buyers the $29.99 item as the best deal, until AFTER they buy, when ebay will send them a message showing them that there was ACTUALLY one for $22.70 that we didn't show you before.
What message are we trying to send to buyers again?

I had a boss that was on Xanax. Once a month, she would run out. I could always tell when that time came, and would predict that any day now, we would hear, I have got to get my prescription refilled.
I was never wrong.
There were those at work who wondered how I could predict that. I said, really, think about it~it's not like we couldn't tell. They said, Ohhhhhhh!

I shut off all the emails I can through my preferences. Then I just to remember to check the home page every day. The promotions show up there.

To be fair, any advertisements are legally supposed to include an "opt out" link.
I believe even eBay policy says that all emailed communications should be related to a sale.

Someone from "Microsoft" has called me at least once, may be multiple times daily for years. I can either get my blood pressure up over it, or when I hear that beep, simply hang up.
Same with card holders services.
I no longer give them the satisfaction of it getting to me.
I get a lot of spam emails. Just got my usual one for male enhancement drugs, or all the beautiful women I want.
Just delete them without a second thought.
Careful, "Microsoft" is probably a scammer. I've never received a call from them. I'm hoping you knew that since the quotes were there, but just in case! lol
