For the value of the items you sell, shipping should be "free". Build the price of shipping into the item. You then know the shipping is covered and the buyer does not know what the shipping cost. Set up a shipping plan based on dollar value so you know ahead of time how you will ship and can price accordingly into the listing. Many sellers on here complain about prices going up on shipping, what they don't know is shipping prices have barely gone up compared to the price of insuring expensive items. They have skyrocketed.

At best, you should use USPS 2 Day Shipping. It's a better value than spending big money on overnight unless the buyer is willing to pay the extra cost.

Please use punctuation to make sentences easier to read, hoping others can read through that.

Your shipping prices are all over the place. Some free, some ridiculous. Probably some buyers want the card enough to pay Overnight delivery, but they're certainly not happy about it.

I think the only way is to include the shipping in the price of the product and offer free shipping. This way I do not think the buyer can rate the shipping cost. Its like when you ship within you stated shipping time eBay automatically rates your shipping time.

That should be the Solution.

Maybe give alternate shipping options and let them choose? Or raise the price a bit and discount or offer free shipping?

My sage advice...
If you include your shipping cost in the item price (free shipping)... no one can argue with you or complain about it.
Buyers can't complain about what they don't see. Take an item you want to sell for $1500 and want to charge $100 shipping. Ask $1600 for it. No one can argue what they don't see. Buyers will happily pay $1600 but will whine all day long about $1500 + $100.
Don't let them know what shipping costs, and they won't be upset.
How would you feel being told something that costs $4 to ship is going to cost you $100? Even if you take $100 off the price of the item, you won't care, you'll be mad at the $100 shipping hands down.
(All my numbers are just examples pulled out of thin air).
Your margins are good enough to absorb small differences in shipping cost, and stop overnighting, such a waste.

This is the main reason that I switch to free shipping. Having said that. You can give it a try for your lower price items. Your most expensive items, you can charge for the shipping or add the shipping price, plus insurance, plus signature confirmation on your selling price. As far as returns, that is the cost of doing business. Several years ago, I eat up about $200 on shipping both ways for a computer. I was not happy about it, but again, its the cost of doing business.
Good luck on your selling journey.

YOU are making the choice of how to ship and what to charge for it...... $50 for shipping a comic book retail ground, even if the price was $1600, is going to look outrageous to most people. Overnight express is simply unneeded for sales......
I have no idea what insurance costs for these types of items.......but I would raise the start price for the item by a reasonable amount to cover it and only ship calculated priority.......perhaps giving the option for overnite express (which I bet no one will use).......
Again.........you are blaming the buyers for grading you low on ship costs........but you are giving them no choice......and using overnite express because "you" like to do it that way........that obviously doesn't please them..........
