Good afternoon,
On June 22, I shipped 2 packages to the eBay international shipping center in Glendale Heights.
One going to Jack in Canada with drawer handles
One going to Dylan in France with doll clothes.
Today Jack sent me a picture.
He received Dylan's package of doll clothes.
The picture shows the package he received has Dylan's name and Dylan's evtn number.
What in the world do I do about fixing this mess when the sorting center made this mistake?

And puts the buyer's address inside the package?
I was just curious.
We ship to the hub, but we don’t put any other label inside the package. The shipping label to the hub has an alphanumeric code and the buyer’s name: eBay then uses that to print the label to the buyer’s country with the final address on it. We don’t even have the option to see their actual address, only the city and country. eBay handles it completely once it reaches their hub.

@linus.hux72fe eBay is supposed to take care of all of that - it's one of the perks of using the system.
Since I don't think anyone here has actually been to the facility and seen how the work is done it's difficult to say how this happened, but 'human error' occurs to me.

@linus.hux72fe You will not have any penalty to your account nor will the buyers be able to leave negative feedback (or they might be able to leave it, but it will be removed if they do). That’s the wonderful thing about EIS, you have virtually no risk once it reaches eBay.

For eIS transactions the seller does not get the buyer's address.

eBay is, under the eIS program, supposed to remove any such feedback that would arise from this situation.
Some "bad" could be left, but when the dust settles it should be removed.

That's true, although I have found that it's possible to see specific details of its destination once the international carrier (e.g. DHL) takes possession and it heads out of the country. If you select detailed tracking on the carrier's website you can follow it to its final destination and Post Code.

What do you mean by "get"?
On all of ny EIS orders I have access to the buyers foreign address.

Wow...I can see mistakes then...when a seller has like 25+ packages and has to make sure the buyer gets the right label.

Just seems so impersonal.
I mean when a buyer has a problem and I have to email them I like to use their name and know something about where the item went and like google the address to see what the problem might be.
Guess you know that I use USPS for tracking from my response...LOL

I apolozize to you if that truly happened.
I've been around these boards a long time. I've heard it all.
I'm just saying that the chances of this happening is slim to none.
99.9% of the time it's human error.
Again, if this truly happened, then I apologize.
Happy 4rh to you.

So you use postage stamps*? Or a postage paid label?
I don't use USPS (I'm in Canada) but how do you get the tracking number? Or do you go commando on that?
I use stamps too, but I'm using them to pay for the tracking service.
* Off topic, but you can buy mint US postage stamps at a discount on eBay. Just avoid the rolls of 100- those are Chinese counterfeits.

I know my eIS buyers country but do not get their address to ship the item to them.

I purchase a postage label at the counter at the post office. That comes with tracking-(ground advantage service).
Yes, I understand how odd this situation is, how unusual, even how nearly unbelievable which is why I provided so many pictures for your consideration. I've generally found the eis system to be quite simple, useful, and profitable
Thank you to those who took the time to read and view the pictures and then comment. It is quite unpleasant and offensive to be spoken to dismissively and doubted unfairly, until a group of regular posters offers support. Thank you for the apology. Happy 4th to all.

As you are using "direct" shipping rather than eIS, yes you indeed do have all that info to make the transaction personal.
eIS program handling keeps some info from being displayed as the shipping goes to, and is handled by, eBay at the shipping hub.
I have the buyers name. It is provided. I have the buyers country. It is provided.
It's not personal, its business.
