Hello everyone, I’m a relatively new seller of Pokemon and other TCG and 99% of all my sales qualify for the ESE. I know the tracking on these are not very reliable with scans and stuff. I sent out a card about two weeks ago. It only got the first scan at the nearest processing facility. The buyer left positive feedback over a week ago and then today opened an INR. What do I do if they left positive feedback about the delivery but the tracking doesn’t show delivered? Please help! I don’t want to ruin my 100% positive feedback

Feedback is not useful to contest a buyer's MBG claim.
If there is no scan other than the origin scan, you will likely be able to collect on the Ebay insurance, so there is no financial penalty if you accede to the buyer's INR claim. There is little doubt that there will not be another scan.

You need to refund the buyer through the INR, and then file for the ESE insurance after 30 days.
Perhaps someone will chime in with the insurance claim link.
eta: as posted by another, feedback left by the buyer means nothing, and to be noted.............. it can show "delivered" and the buyer can still open and INR for ESE and be refunded because that "delivered" that is a "metered mail" event at the processing facility, as we know, does not mean that it was actually delivered. Just that it processed somewhere near the buyers PO.

Should I message back and ask for a few more days of patience? Or just issue the refund now?

Why inconvenience the buyer. Any delay enhances your feared negative FB. Negative FB is not as scary as many people think. Some of it can be removed. Many buyers ignore all FB, and a there is still a minority of **bleep** retentive buyers on Ebay.

I just checked the INR and it says buyer still wants the item, so do I proceed any differently?

Is this like a way of scamming the seller? Reporting an INR if the tracking doesn’t show delivered? I’ve ordered plenty of cards from other buyers where the tracking doesn’t update but I’ve never opened any claims
