Help not sure where my money is?

Hi there

I sold my Xbox Series S on my wife’s account as I have gone back to PC. It’s been a while since we’ve sold anything, Ebay states the buyer has paid. When I went to package the item and check the PayPal address I found no funds in PayPal.

We went on to Ebay and it states she needed to put further details directly into Ebay to be paid which she has now done with her bank details.

Does this mean now the funds will come to her bank in time? I am worried this delay will cause the buyer to potentially leave bad feedback or even cancel the purchase.

I have sold the item twice to individuals who both asked to cancel the payment which has really been a pain as I just want to see my item and receive the funds.

Could anyone with experience let me know now the bank details have been linked if that should allow the money to come through? If so how long does this normally take.

When eBay asked for your bank details, they explained that you were being enrolled in the new Managed Payments program.

Did you take the time to read the details of how the new Managed Payments program works? 

If you did, you would know that the money is no longer deposited in PayPal, and that it can take several days for the money to be cleared into your bank account  (or even two weeks, depending upon what payout schedule you chose). 

You would also know that you should NOT wait until you see the money in your bank account before you ship.
