We're trying to upload a large number of LEGO minifigures to eBay using the category listing template CSV, but we keep running into errors when uploading the file.
The main error we receive is:
Input data for tag <Item.ShippingDetails.ShippingType> is invalid or missing
We’ve tried entering shipping services, setting the shipping type to "Flat", and using all required columns, but the error persists.
Here’s our setup:
We want to list LEGO minifigures under fixed price listings
All items are new and shipped from Aarschot, Belgium
We use business policies (shipping, return, and payment profiles)
Shipping: flat-rate — €2.98 for Belgium, €8.34 for Europe, €9.00 for rest of the world
Returns: 30-day return policy, buyer pays return shipping
Dispatch time is 5 business days
Product photos are provided via direct image URLs (hosted on Shopify)
We’d love to see a working CSV example for similar listings, or a clear explanation of:
What exact values are required for shipping and return fields
How to reference business policies correctly in the CSV
Which columns are required and which ones can be left blank
Any help or example files would be greatly appreciated!
