I take advice from eBay to help my sales and I am so slow it has become unbearable. eBay suggested free shipping, 30-60 day return, 1-day handling time and best offers. I did it all. I continue to get slower and slower. I am talking less than $100 days. Oh, I also do the promotion to eBay. So basically I am on negative. WHY!!! I have 100% with over 1000 positive reviews and THOUSANDS of new, desirable items. It was never enough money for me to make a living so I continued to dig why. Instead, the sales get worse and worse. I do not want to offer all of those perks plus promotions make no money and have no sales. I can't even source at this point because my storage is a full capacity because of the thousands of items I have. Is this fixable? It makes no sense with all the work I put in with posting consistently and a lot.

Have you compared your goods to some other sellers? Unfortunately less buyers are looking at feedback (don't understand that logic) and buying solely on price. If you are a few bucks higher then the next seller well that is like finishing second in the superbowl to buyers. I had sold some trail cams a year or two ago and was amazed at how many people contacted me making offers. I had them at bin but no best offer. I kindly replied I was not interested since I was already the cheapest price on ebay for the item. Most of them then purchased at the posted price.

I've averaged at least 1 sale a day for nearly 5 years straight, and now I'm going on my 6th straight day of zero sales and virtually no views on any of my newly listed items.
All this after a more personal best month of May with 67 sales and over 80 new listings.
This is the WORST dry spell I've ever encountered in 20 years on eBay, and it's making me a little frightened.

It's the first week of school break in most of the country. People are otherwise engaged. I myself, made a purchase a day, on average, in May. This month - 5 so far.

Then don't offer them. eBay's suggestions are made to help eBay do better, not necessarily to help the seller.

Yes, agreed. I had a wonderful first quarter by my standards. On April 1st, my sales basically ended and that was my worst month ever. Today is June 10th, I have had 2 sales this month. Before I would typically revieve double digit views on all my items regardless of whether or not the item sold. Now my views are more like 0, 1, 2. Regardless of all the reasons: schools in, schools out, vacation, holiday, tax season, North Korea, Christmas, etc, I truly believe something has changed. This has never been a slow time of year for me. Younger generations say they don't want old junk, OK, fine, but why then did they decide this on April 1st of this year?
Like some have suggested, I am considering taking a break for a couple of months and use my time for some other projects. I would just relist and ship the occassional sale, but not do any new listings or buy any new merchandise. Your comments are welcome.

With higher International shipping, I am sure people from these countries can source clothing locally.

I have seen this happen also. If you have had a return, or returns it will affect your visibility for about 2 weeks or more.

I agree. I shipped a small stuffed animal to Australia a few months back... only around 10 oz or so. It cost $22 for shipping. I very much doubt that many people in Australia are going to pay upwards of $22 for shipping a shirt when they can get shirts locally unless there's some particular desirability to that shirt.

Its my understanding that Amazon stopped sales in Australia on the regular site, and instead put up a small store with only in-country items.
As for me, I cant list anything nice here because I cant give it away. A snad in australia?

I am in the same boat as you! Everything you wrote describes what I am doing on my end. My ratings, pricing, shipping time, returns accepted, Ive done it all. So why are my views and traffic falling when my account has been in the best standing since I started? The more you follow the rules the more your sales go down, so it seems...
