I mailed in a pair of Nike Air Force 1 Victor Cruz Edition which have never been worn but I did put sole protectors on the shoe and just reboxed it back up and now they saying that they could not authenticate saying the shoes have been modified which they happen is no different than shrink wrapping what can I do because this $250 sale I was going to use the money to get my car at the shop now I may lose my car I'm wondering if I can sue for the blocking my sell

I am a 'little' familiar with the authentication services and not at all familiar to sneakers evaluations to protect buyers and sellers
You said:
"...but I did put sole protectors on the shoe..."
They said:
"...could not authenticate saying the shoes have been modified..."
So modifying the original shoes is not modified?

You listed as new and you used what appear to be stock photos? For the authentication center to accept these, they would have to be listed in a condition other than new with a disclosure that you added sole protectors.
The authentication center should send the sneakers back to you. You can relist them, disclosing the modification, and hopefully you'll resell them quickly.
"I'm wondering if I can sue for the blocking my sell"
I suppose you can try to sue (I'm not a legal expert), but you have zero chance of winning. eBay did not violate their program's terms. I strongly advise not going down this path.

While you sure can take a swing at sueing ebay, not my business but wouldn't a better use of your money be getting your car outta hawk so you can drive to meet your lawyer?

1. Your original listing DOES NOT show or mention (describe) this modification you made.
This means they are not to the original specifications that Nike manufactured and shipped them. That means they are not authentic and the modification was made without the approval from Nike.
2. Seems you lost the sale and the money you expected.
3. A lawyer will cost you more than $250 and would loose this case - then you are out more money.

Borrow money from a friend or a relative to get your car fixed. When the shoes come back to you, relist them with real photos. OR list them elsewhere. Get the idea of suing Ebay out of your head. You can't. You AGREED to NOT sue Ebay when you joined Ebay. Or maybe the mechanic will take your shoes instead of payment.
