That tracking number shows delivered on Jan 8 in Idaho for me. All scans are there from origination PO on Jan 5 to the end.
If you are getting dinged, I suppose you'll have to call ebay. Yay.

I don't undertand either. According to usps.com it got plenty of scans including at least two on the same day that the label was printed and a delivery scan 3 days later.

Once again, ebay has a glitch in their system that they don't understand or can fix. We have several of these, that the tracking actually shows delivered on time by the way. We are currently being dinged also for packages that ebay claims was late, but within the delivery time stated on the listing were early. They don't care, it's all about elimated anyone who gets a TRS discount as if they haven't stolen enough of it away already.

I'm also getting dings for items arriving on time, but customer picks up packages at their P.O. due to high theft in their neighborhoods and its not scanned until they pick it up and that is 4 or 5 days later after it has arrived..

It usually means that you uploaded the tracking number within your stated handling time, but there were no delivery scans by USPS to show the package arrived by the estimated delivery date. If you do have scans proving on-time delivery, Customer Service should be able to remove the late-shipment dings. I had one recently that was corrected. And it only took one phone call. (Yes I was amazed.)

If uploaded on time but no carrier scan is what theyre complaining about and you shipped as soon as you got paid - I bet I know why you are getting those warnings. Take a good look at your tracking. Your PO scanned it promptly when they got it but the listing says In Possession of USPS and not 'Accepted'. The word 'Accepted' does not appear anywhere in the tracking history. So if Ebay is actually looking for the word 'Accepted' or 'Acceptance' or any other variation of that word - they will never find it and you will never get credit for validated tracking.
trinton@ebay - please take a look at this perfect tracking history - including same day shipping within a few hours of printing the label because you can see the label printed scan followed within hours by post office scans. But the word 'Accepted' is not shown by USPS. If Ebay is relying on finding the word 'Accepted' then thats going to be a big problem for shipping validation.

The ones that are a problem on our report all have acceptance scans, along with a delivered scan within the scheduled delivery time.
Just another ebay glitch that does not work in the sellers favor.

This is one of the reasons we had to switch to 3 day handling time. We still ship within 24 hours, usually in under 6.......This and their ridiculous "Estimated Delivery". Got tired of this kind of issue and constantly fight them to get this fixed, wasn't worth it for a 5% discount and a little sticker that says we're swell sellers. They really aren't helping anyone, we know what we are doing, they do not. There are still thousands sellers on here who print a label then wait 6 days to ship, they haven't curbed that problem at all, they just try to micromanage us.

Besides the new postal hike that ebay has to be getting a cut of for printed shipping AND the ship fee gouge fee boost, ebay might be trying to up the number of Below Standard sellers for that extra 4%.

They are making MILLIONS off Postal Ministry fees, on both sides.

Can you show any info on that? I'm just curious. How do we know what ebay pays for the postage they then sell to us?

Yeah...just curious but I suppose nobody here has the inside knowledge and if they do they're not going to share.

@Anonymous
Hi, Alan and Trinton:
So sorry for the page but someone earlier in this thread paged Trinton but it did not appear to be in the proper format so I do not know if that page would work. If I am mistaken, my sincere apologies to all.
I had paged Alan to some threads on this previously, so I included him here as well.
Thank you very much for your patience and understanding, and most of all, for all you do.
