This is an alert to all sellers using Gmail that rely on e-mail to notify them of sales, INRs, returns, offers, buyer messages, payment notices, or anything else selling-related that they should log in to each of their eBay accounts directly to make sure they're not missing anything.
This is something sellers should always do anyway, but for those that don't - this is your heads up. For the last 2 hours or so Gmail has been down for most users and Google is estimating a resolution about 40 minutes from now. (status updates)

Wow... it's like the world is burning down

Ha ha, well I suppose a 2 1/2 hour Gmail disruption is nothing compared to yesterday morning when all Google services experienced a full outage for an hour. Makes you wonder what's going on over there at Google.
The **bleep** part is that anything that didn't make it through to your e-mail in those 2 1/2 hours isn't coming through. It's lost to the ether.

Apparently we can't use an adjective on this board that's defined by Oxford as "extremely poor in quality" ...

GOOGLE outage was probably the result of hackers. Probably by the same hackers that are taking out the Sheriff dept or city phone lines and demanding ransom. An ongoing problem in FL. Riviera Beach paid $600,000 to hackers. Lake City paid $460,000. Levy County Sheriff's dept. was hacked twice. Georgia, too.

@wastingtime101. OMG! Oh, this whole world has gone to the dogs! Thank you.

Odd the words that they do not allow. Can't use the word you tried as it is synonymous with some less pleasant words, but in the content that you were using it the word is very mild. At the same time I can make an ass of myself posting, and it is allowed.

Hell if I know the rhyme or reason to the bleep filters.

You mean to tell me during those 2.5 hours, if one of my “exceptional” buyers was using gmail... I could’ve really told them what I thought without holding back, and clicked send without any regret what so ever??

I have this happen at least a couple times a year. I know if I'm not seeing the normal emails I get it is time to go check my account.
But thank you for the heads up. So far I'm fine, but it is good to know and watch out for.

Hahaha. You remind me of this stand up comedian I saw once at a club. He was hilarious https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FiLnnuiCzuo

Have they tried doing a chargeback through their credit card company?
