Heads up on shipping label charges

In Nov, Dec and this month I have had label fees deducted from my checking account when they were also paid from my ebay funds.

I've contacted CS on all occasions and the issues have been resolved. One payout for an item the label was not deducted from my funds and the label fee was deducted from my bank account.

The CS rep from time before said that if this is happening to me it is happening to others. So just be on the lookout.

Once again this proves to me that ebay should not be managing payments. It's a headache to keep tracking $3+ charges, but they do add up.

How soon are you shipping after you get the notification from Ebay that the buyer has paid? Is it possible that Ebay has already started the transfer to your checking account before you buy the shipping label? If you have no pending funds for the label then they would go to your checking account to find the money there.

Someone replied to my post, but it's gone.

It was suggested to pay with PayPal charging a credit card on file and gave several reasons why. I took his/her suggestion and it was working great until this week. My bank account was charged with 3-4 postage amounts. I know I selected pay with PP option. I'll wait to see if ebay will figure it out.

If it has reverted back to your ebay account, recheck the setting at the very bottom of create label page. 

If it charging your bank from PayPal:

Log into your PayPal account.
Click on the Settings (gear Icon at top right).
Click Account Settings.
Click on Money, banks and cards.
Scroll down to Automatic Payments and click Set Automatic Payments.
Click on eBay Inc Shipping .
Select the payment method (your credit card).

All looks good on PP.  The charges that were charged to my bank account were also paid with PP.

Looks like I'll be talking to CS again, but will wait to see if they figure it out. Find it to be chore.

Are you saying that your bank account was charged twice?  Or that your bank account was charged once and then funds take out of your PayPal cash as well? 

Who is charging your bank account, ebay or PayPal?
