Having problems with Markdown Manager in promotions. Need help!!

Can someone please help me out here? I have been trying unsuccessfully since the past 4-5 days to activate a 5% off markdown sale in my store for all my items. However, every single time I have tried, it shows 0 items with the same error message: skipped:price. I don't know why its doing this because almost all my listings are GTC and I have only updated quantities over the last few days, haven't changed the pricing or the description. Its not like I created brand new listings and then I am trying. I remember sometime in 2017 there was this same issue but that took a while to solve & greatly impacted my sales. I do have other order discounts going on in my store right now but I always get a better response with markdown sale.

If anyone else has experienced this problem & knows the solution, please comment! Appreciate any input/suggestions/feedback. TIA!

There are many many threads on this subject.

How long have the items been listed.  When was your last sale?

You now have to wait 14 days between sales to use mark down manager.

It is  because some sellers were abusing it.

As I said there are other threads here that will answer your question as to why it was implemented.
