Have your service metrics been updated this month October 2022?

The update is supposed to happen on October 20th but it didn’t this month. Ebay updated defects in seller performance but didn’t do evaluation of seller metrics for me. How about you?

I found out that the buyer abuse reports are not being reviewed as well. I have a case that was opened on 10.13.2021 (12 months) opened and didn’t fall off this evaluation report. I have case that buyer lied and submitted report with proof of video which ebay disregarded. And i have 3 cases listed past Money back

Looks like yours is updated. October 20th evals up through the end of September. They can't eval October on the 20th because the month isn't over yet.

So Oct 2021 - Sept 2022 is current for the eval that took place a few days ago.

The eval on November 20th will be for Nov 2021 - Oct 2022. Your claim from Oct 13, 2021 should fall off with next month's eval.

so what you saying is that eval is on the 20th and doesn’t include cases from 1-19 of the eval month? That puts the case at 12 months plus.

 

my complaint in addition  is that Ebay doesn’t review cases. They don’t review reports of abuse. And they don’t review tickets opened even by team member for technical issues such as cases opened past 30 days past MBG that are counting against seller. Devon confirmed such cases should not couńt and opened ticket but they closed it without words.

I reached out to FB long time ago as you can remember from your thread (Devin opened ticjet that was closed without resolution) and I reached out to higher ups 2 days ago. It seems that impressions and views improved yesterday and I got couple sales. I will see if this is just one time /1-2 days change and whether they will correct metrics report (off those past MBG cases) . They need to higher someone who will be reviewing reports of abuse or tech issues if they want to charge extra penalty.

It's only 12 months. When it was filed mid-October of last year, it would have appeared on 'projected' metrics pretty quickly, but it didn't apply to your 'current' service metrics until the eval on Nov 20th. It will drop off Nov 20th of this year. Delayed application, delayed removal - all evens out to 12 months.

I know they're applying things that were filed past the 30 day MBG window when they shouldn't. I started a thread about it to get policy clarification because I have a few INRs on mine right now that shouldn't be there, and following the steps Devon provided to appeal resulted in nothing.

Are you sure that month wasn’t counted 20 to 19th?  I think that they just came up with idea that month is counted 1-30/31 and reviewed 20 days after. Why are they waiting another 20days to review metrics prior to 20 days before?

I'm sure of the timelines I posted above. It's not new. Your mid-October claim from last year wasn't applied to your 'current' metrics until Nov 20th of last year.

Your rating is 'average' so you're completely fine right now. Even if another claim is filed in the last 6 days of October, it won't count on your metrics until the Nov 20th eval at which point that claim from last year will drop off.

I use a mix of different shipping and return policies, depending on product category.
