I'm sure I did at some point. But now I've only been back to selling for a couple of months and I use my 50 free (not all of them even) on a couple of selling IDs.

Only by mistake!  I only use the listings that come with my store.  If ebay better supported me as a seller, I might be open to paying for more listings.  Instead I am moving more and more to other venues, and have no problem for paying 20 cents for listings on another who are more reasonable and helpful.

For me, when I was selling things that were typically $20 or more the 30 cents was kinda negligible as far as I was concerned.

I can imagine for items that are $10 or less though and especially in volume it would be a considerable cost increase to incur and would not be logical.

If I'm ready to list something, a $0.30 fee isn't going to stop me. I really don't care about $0.30.  If I did, I'd be rethinking my my finances.

The last time I paid anything for a listing must be over 10 years ago.

So far no, but it would depend on what I'm selling. If it were something I know would sell fast and for over $30 then yes. Currently, I rarely go over my first 50 free listings.

For the first ten years or so there was never any free listings. You paid for everything you listed. People now expect freebies as it's what happens when you give handouts.

25 cents with a store, and yes I have, whenever I put book lots for auction. Books aren't included in the store quota for "free" auctions.

The easier you are to offend the easier you are to control.

No.

I use my 50 free listings on all my selling accounts, and any promotions that happen to come along.

No, because I know when it's time to upgrade to a store. I have paid the 10 cent listing fee on this and my other account several times and have no problems doing it.
